The guides are general information
The guides explain how we built our own websites and are for general information. They aren’t professional advice for your particular situation. Prices, screens and third-party services change, and while we review the guides regularly, we can’t promise every detail is current. Check anything important — especially costs, legal requirements and security settings — before relying on it.
You are responsible for your own website, including keeping backups, keeping software up to date and complying with the law (for example on privacy and cookies).
Using our code samples
You may copy, use and adapt the code samples in the guides in your own websites, including commercial ones, free of charge. They are provided “as is”, without any warranty: test them before using them on a live site.
Everything else on the site — the text of the guides, the design, logos and screenshots — belongs to us or our licensors. You may link to any page and quote short extracts with a link back, but please don’t copy whole guides onto another website.
Links, affiliates and providers

The reader-voted lists reflect readers’ opinions, not ours.
